Traitors Themed Evening
A Night of Deception and Delicious Dining at Syon Park
Syon House was transformed into a setting of intrigue and indulgence as guests gathered for a Traitors-themed evening, with a magnificent menu proving that Rhubarb truly knows how food can bring a theme to life.
Creative Canapé Reception
Guests entered through a secret door in the bookcase for a Champagne reception where elegant canapés set the tone for the evening. Enjoying an array of themed canapés, including charcoal dodgers with whipped goat’s cheese and redcurrant jam alongside Caboc cheese doughnuts filled with braised short rib and truffle purée. Each bite was delicate yet rich, a flawless start to the night.
The Game Begins
Guests were then invited to the Green Drawing Room, where “Claudia” made her entrance to explain the rules. The Traitors were selected in secret as the night of deception officially began.
Dinner opened with an inventive beef fat candle served with grilled sourdough and pickles. As the flame slowly melted, guests lathered their bread with the flavourful spread before moving on to beetroot gnocchi with mushrooms and whipped goat’s cheese topped with a crisp of cavolo nero.
The Faithfuls and The Traitors
Throughout the night, guests descended into missions and banishments, slowly making their way to the final showdown. Drinks flowed freely, including the signature cocktails The Faithful and The Traitor, both created to capture the spirit of the evening.
Dinner with a Deadly Twist
Guests returned to the Dining Room to enjoy their main of Beef Wellington served with neeps and tatties, smoked mash and turnip purée. Each plate was elegantly presented, but one held a secret. A single serving arrived drizzled with blood red jus, revealing the murder in dramatic fashion.
A Deliciously Deceptive Finale
Perched upon a coffin, the dramatic dessert station provided a striking end to the night. Highlights included The Faithful, a Madagascan vanilla mousse with a raspberry centre, and The Traitors, dark green macarons filled with espresso caramel. Each dessert was crafted with precision and always perfectly on theme.
A Themed Night Done Right
Every detail of the evening was executed flawlessly. The collaboration between @syonparkevents, @sharkyandgeorgeevents, @bespokeliveproductions, @duchessbutler, @noahtwobytwo and @emmasoulsby brought the theme to life with imagination and flair.
