The Invisible Guest Initiative

At Rhubarb, we create events with a deliciously different flair. That creativity does not stop at events but extends into all things we do at Rhubarb. That is why we are proud to introduce our new initiative, “The Invisible Guest”. By adding just one more guest, an 'invisible' guest, you will be making a generous contribution towards The Felix Project and feeding those in need.

How does it work?

  1. Reserve a place for the “invisible guest” when planning your next event with our planning team.
  2. Place a £100 donation.
  3. Rhubarb will match the donation, doubling the impact.
  4. The Felix Project distributes 200 meals for every £100 to those facing food insecurity across London.

We will match all donations. Together we can make a difference.
The fight against hunger is a mission we are all a part of, and that is why we at Rhubarb will double all donations to the Felix Project. Each £100 donation helps distribute 200 meals to those in need. We will match all donations, doubling the impact. This means a £100 donation will now create 400 meals, directly helping fight the cause in the capital.

What is the Felix Project?

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity, stopping food waste and fighting hunger. London has a hunger crisis, 1.5 million adults in London struggle to afford to eat every day. The team at the Felix Project are working tirelessly to make sure no good food is wasted, rescuing surplus food from the food industry that cannot be sold and would otherwise go to waste and delivering it to hundreds of food banks, charities, primary schools and holiday programmes in London. In 2024 50% of the rescued food was delivered to community organisations within the top 5 most deprived neighbourhoods in the capital, directly helping the most vulnerable people.
